BGL, established in 1978 as an IANZ accredited Geotechnical Laboratory, offers a wide range of field and laboratory testing services.

The laboratory provides services to contractors and consultants together with support to our teams. The range of testing includes Triaxial and Direct Shear Testing as well as Consolidation and testing to determine all other engineering characteristics.

Data capture during testing is achieved using linear and pore pressure transducers linked to LabVIEW to automatically manage the data acquisition. This allows continuous data capture and real time monitoring of critical parameters.
