Paddy's specialities are Geotechnical and Civil Engineering including foundation investigation and design; the planning and design of open pit mines; the investigation and design for dams and ponds; the investigation and stabilisation of slope failures, the design of retaining walls; and marine structures; investigation and design of industrial and residential subdivisions, site supervision of large civil engineering works; investigation and design of buried structures, roads and rail alignments;. the design of bulk earthworks, carparks, retaining walls, stormwater and sanitary services, water supply, power and telecom reticulation.

Paddy has specialised in Forensic Engineering and regularly provides expert evidence in his areas of expertise.
