Philip Gormack

General Manager, M.E. (Civil), Diploma of Business Administration

Philip has a broad engineering, commercial and management background, across a wide range of industries.

His early career included a variety of civil design projects and project management, both in New Zealand and the UK. In 1981 he joined Petroleum Corporation of NZ, undertaking technical and business management roles, with responsibility for significant aspects of the development of New Zealand's oil and gas resources. This was followed by strategic and commercial management roles in New Zealand Forestry Corporation, including the sale of the Crown's commercial forests.

From 1995, Philip held senior management roles in Watercare Services Limited, New Zealand's largest water and wastewater company, including three years as General Manager with responsibility for meeting Auckland's drinking-water needs.

Philip joined Babbage Consultants Limited in December 2004 where he has focussed on the growth and development of the Company to meet the opportunities and challenges ahead.
