Supporting good causes.

Getting LOUD for charity

September 2015

The seemingly long continuing days of winter (even though it was meant to be spring already!) were a great reason for our Auckland office to get involved with a good cause and brighten things up. Friday September 18th was Loud Shirt Day – and we certainly had some good examples being modelled by our team.

Loud Shirt Day is a charity fundraiser for Hearing House and the Southern Cochlear Implant Programme which supports deaf children by providing Cochlear Implants, teaching kids to hear and distinguish speech and sounds and providing speech training so that they can communicate as well as any able hearing child.

The skills that Hearing House and the Southern Cochlear Implant Programme can impart are priceless for a deaf child’s development, but all that care comes at a cost that requires funding. The Babbage Auckland team managed to raise $225 dollars from our fundraising efforts which will go towards the care and support of deaf children in the Auckland region.

Once again every little bit helps.
