Until now, Babbage Architecture has had a quiet but solid reputation for its expertise in education design and has created and improved the learning environments of a wide range of primary, secondary and tertiary sites over the years as well as consulting directly to the Ministry of Education. 

But the secret is out.  The Remarkables Primary School with its striking design and stunning location is profiled this month in two New Zealand journals.  The July/August edition of Architecture NZ and Vol. 27, No. 8 of Commercial Design Trends recognise the successful balance between providing best practice learning design with a building that responds to its environment, calling it "striking and stylish".
