The 1379m2 site on the corner of Nelson St and Victoria St West was purchased by Dae Ju in 2002 to undertake an apartment development.
The established major Korean apartment developer and contractor teamed with Multiplex to deliver the building which had enjoyed strong sale interest from its inception. The design provided for a range of apartments from studio type to three bedroom units.
The facade was stepped and articulated with extensive decks facing the streets. An innovative tilted wall was introduced as part of the design on the Victoria West facade and provides a strong design feature to the building. This feature along with the decks and floating roof line delivered a modern and expressed building to the skyline.
