Warren is driven by results – for the client and for Babbage. He works with clients to establish their commercial drivers and shows them how Babbage, with its multi disciplines, can provide services to achieve their goals.

Warren has more than 20 years’ experience in trade development of New Zealand and Australian products in China, business development-related governance and project advisory services for international companies operating in Asia, and project-delivery of a range of projects in China and Southeast Asia.

His focus at Babbage is on marketing and business development in relation to project origination and investor development activity in New Zealand.

Warren gained his Bachelor of Horticulture from Massey University in Palmerston North in 1978, but switched his focus to business development, working on a range of projects, then gained his MBA from the Management Institute of Australia in Melbourne in 2002. He has worked in Tauranga, Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh City and Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzen. He joined Babbage in 2016.

  • Lingang, Shanghai low-carbon urban development business park – independent adviser
  • Maxi Trans Industries, establishing the manufacture of MaxiCube truck trailers in China
  • Rio Tinto (China) East Guinea aluminium refinery bid preparation
  • Asian Development Bank public-private partnership registration programme
