Its an exciting milestone for Glide with the official opening of its new oil recycling and re-refining facility in Pukekohe!
The innovative plant transforms used lubricating oils into high-quality base oil that can be re-refined repeatedly, supporting a more circular approach to managing this valuable resource.
For Babbage, this has been a truly multidisciplinary effort. What began with planning support for the existing facility grew into a much wider collaboration, demonstrating the value of combining our technical expertise with strong project leadership and trusted client relationships.
The official opening on 18 October was an opportunity to see the completed facility in operation and recognise the collective effort that went into bringing this ambitious project to life.
A big acknowledgement to our Babbage project team which included Project Management, Planning, Design Management, Electrical, Site Modelling/Coordination, Project Finance, Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Fire Engineering, Contaminated Land, and Site Management & Planning. A fantastic collective effort across so many disciplines!
