Who we are
The Babbage Building Surveying team helps clients to better understand their built assets so they can make informed decisions about whether to buy, sell, redevelop, refurbish, lease or remediate them.
Our team of qualified Building Surveyors investigate and report on a wide range of property and construction-related matters for property owners, investors, lawyers, bodies corporate, government ministries and corporations.
When reporting on buildings, we are independent and impartial. Additionally, we have significant experience as arbitrators, mediators and ‘expert witnesses’ in construction disputes.
The reports we prepare are clear, concise and easy to understand. They include technical due diligence and pre-lease inspection reports on commercial and industrial properties, as well as Asbestos Management Surveys and Asbestos Management Plans. We also assess ‘weathertightness’ of residential and commercial buildings, the performance and durability of building materials used in construction and building maintenance obligations under the terms of a lease.
If required, we act as a single point of contact for a wide range of services including Architecture, Structural Engineering, Building Services Engineering and Environmental.
